Founded by David Kowalski, a former engineer from a family of heating contractors, Boiler Professionals, Inc. began when Kowalski started troubleshooting circulation pump failures that were incorrectly diagnosed as boiler problems. His focus shifted to the hydronic loop's finer points, especially issues involving cavitation in circulation pumps and improper system balancing — problems that most competitors overlooked or misunderstood.
